Steve Cook succeeded in dominating the mobile market with iPhone. It was a new trend. However, iPhone became a status symbol with time. It is said without a doubt that iPhone offers flawless UI and lagfree usage. Apple’s App Store is one of world’s biggest app markets. However, over past few years, Android is giving iPhone a tough competition.
Eric Schmidt has posted a guide on his Google+ ID for those who want to make the switch. According to Eric Schmidt, “80% of the world, in the latest surveys, agrees on Android”. This statement seems quite true, as I see more of my friends converting from iPhone to Android everyday. Eric Schmidt says “Many of my iPhone friends are converting to Android”. Android phones are much better than iPhone in terms of specs and display. They are faster and provide better viewing experience. Gaming is more fun. On top of all, Android is way more flexible than iPhone. In Android, all apps are linked to each other. You can open and edit same file in number of apps by opening from same place. In iPhone, you have to open a separate app for every thing you do.
Many people do not switch to Android only because of their love for Apple. They do not like to give Android even a try. I have used both. iPhone is made for those who know nothing about phones. In a survey, it’s shown that if an Android smartphone, iPhone, Blackberry mobile and Windows mobile are given to a person who has never used a mobile, and he is asked to dial a number; He will do it fastest on iPhone! Well, its hundred percent true. But what is the point of this. We all have been using smartphones since we were kids. I found Android little difficult at start, but as i starting understanding it, I find iPhone as a piece of junk. There are so many limitations on iPhone. I would never switch back to iPhone now.
Those who have switched to Android from iPhone must know how difficult it is to transfer data from iPhone. Especially, the music in itunes. I went mad because I could not find a way to do so. In Android, I can freely copy data in and out of mobile’s memory – without having to pass through boring synchronization process.
