Last Friday, Asus Philippines Facebook page allowed it’s likers for a Q & A session for anything about the Zenfone and I got some juicy details.
The info that I’m gonna share are based on Asus PH’s answers from questions from different persons. First, there are no words so far on the arrival of the Zenfone 5 LTE version which is powered by Snapdragon 400
Second, they will gonna have an official release of the Zenfone 5 with 16 GB ROM. The price will be same as
the one from the first IT store who ‘s selling it at P6,995 at the 3rd week of August. Don’t worry for those who are already bought it at that store as that is still covered by Asus’ 1-year local warranty.
Third, no officials also on the possible arrival of the Zenfone with 4.5 inch display
Fourth will be the Android Kitkat update. The roll-out for Zenfone 4 users will be available in mid-August and end of this month for Zenfone 5 users. What’s cool for both updates, both devices will have USB OTG capabilities. No info yet for Zenfone 6 users.
I’m excited for the Kitkat update of Zenfone 5 mainly coz of the USB OTG support. I am hoping that it will have more battery efficient as some people complaining of not that great battery life.
