On Friday, November 18, 2011 the Dallas Film Society hosted its annual fall event – The Art of Film presented by the Arthur E. Benjamin Foundation. This historic event was held at the newly renovated Hall of State building in Fair Park and celebrated the incredible work of John Lithgow.
The evening began with a Red Carpet and cocktails with Mr. Litghgow and special guest Peter Weller. The elegant gathering for 400 patrons then headed to The Margaret and Al Hill Lecture Hall for a conversation with Mr. Lithgow moderated by national film critic Elvis Mitchell. Afterward, a seated dinner in the Great Hall capped off a fantastic evening.
